Improving Lives

In Brazil and Africa

Grants for Education, Health & Job Skills

Our Mission: Creating opportunity and lasting change for the poor in Brazil & Africa.

Education

Our educational grants build classrooms and bathrooms; equip rural schools with desks, technology, and supplies; provide scholarships and job skills training; fund safe spaces for children in high-risk areas; expand future opportunities; and invest in school-based projects that help schools meet their needs and strengthen their communities.

Health

Our grants provide clean water through wells and rain-harvesting systems for schools in Uganda and Kenya; deliver essential medicines to rural clinics in Ghana, Chad, and Tanzania; support youth leadership programs and women’s mental health initiatives in Brazil; and ensure students walking long distances in rural DRC begin each day with a nutritious breakfast.

Economic Independence

Our grants for scholarships and vocational training, combined with networking, financial literacy programs, and zero-cost microloans, empower women and youth to build careers, start small businesses, achieve sustainable livelihoods, support their families, and strengthen their communities by creating local jobs and providing essential services.

Your Gifts, Their New Beginning

Rain-Harversting Tanks: Clean Water for Schools

“Thank you for the tank donated to our school. We now use free, safe rainwater collected in the tank, which has reduced the risk of accidents from dangerous animals along the long distances we previously had to walk to fetch water for the many needs of the school.”

St. Aloysius Misozi Primary School – Uganda

Wells: More than Clean Water for Thousands of Children

“Our learners were traveling a very long risky distance for water, the distance had risks like rape, defilement, kidnaping, child sacrifice. Which could only be solved with the source water at school.”

“We thank you so much for our “Angel’s Dormitory.” Because of your generosity, 85 girls are now safe, well-rested, and able to focus on their studies. Your support ended the long, dangerous walks to school that left them tired and hungry. Today, they wake up close to school—protected, prepared, and ready to learn, grow, and dream.”
