About Angela Pearce-Jordan
Angela Pearce-Jordan is a philanthropist who founded Angels for Brazil & Africa and volunteers both her expertise and financial resources to drive meaningful change among the poorest communities in Brazil and Africa. She has been involved in charitable work since childhood.
In the early 1990s, she expanded her service by supporting medical missions in Brazil that provided free reconstructive surgeries, as well as medical, dental, and vision care to underserved communities. In 2018, after visiting friends in East Africa and witnessing the need firsthand, she expanded Angels’ work to support impoverished communities across the African continent.
With 28 years of experience in banking and card payments, Angela brings strong financial oversight, accountability, and governance to the organization. She audits and trains grantees in grant management, oversees all compliance requirements, and leads leadership development and financial literacy programs for youth and women. Committed to responsible stewardship, she establishes sound processes to ensure donation funds are used effectively and is a passionate advocate for self-sufficiency initiatives that empower women and youth to gain job skills and launch their own businesses.
Angela is adamant about respecting the donors and making the best possible with their donations, where her finance expertise is hard at work.
